ET leaked his name and faction.

He's a Decepticon and his name is Stinger.

 

Plus the pagani has extremely sophisticated active aerodynamics, no spoilers at all...
At least not by any standard meaning of the word.

 

When the Pagani was initially revealed, Windcharger was my first guess. The vehicle mode would fit Windcharger. Huayra was the Incan wind god. Windcharger even is a notable character in the G1 episode "Fire on the Mountain," which takes place in Peru.

About the Stinger name, the leaked toy line sheet does mention a "Decepticon Stinger," and the woman on ET called the Pagani "Stinger." Therefore, I think the Pagani is the same as "Decepticon Stinger." I don't think they would put the Decepticon moniker in front if it were not a Decepticon, but that does not mean that the Stinger name is the final name. So the Pagani's a Con whose production name is Stinger. Having said that, for all we know he could have once been an Autobot like Windcharger.

 

Lol, ET just said his name was Stinger. No where in any ET program was not mentioned Stinger was a Con. Now the leaked toy list called him Decepticon Stinger. But we have to remember, when ET taped this, it's was still early in production so the Stunger name has yet to be confirmed as the final name. It still yet may only be a production name.

 

dont put to much thought into it being windcharger just because the actual car is named after a god of wind. Bay does not think like this.

 

I doubt he would, too, but I thought it would be a nice tribute when the Pagani was revealed.

 

Being the Pagani looks so much like Bee, there is a story element behind the Pagani. It's not just some TF or just some Con that shows up and happens by chance to look like Bee. The Pagani is tied to one of the major plot points, as is the Argosy.

 

And that's one of the things I'm most excited for in this movie. I can't wait for the official reveal of both characters, especially when the speculation has been so fun.

True that. Truthfully, I will be happy with whoever the Pagani and Argosy are. It would have to be a pretty ridiculous character choice for me to be upset.

I thought Windcharger would be a good name when everyone was speculating it could be Rodimus or Cliffjumper, but as we've got little bits of info trickling in, I've come to a conclusion for quite some time now, which I'm sure is the same thing that tonyformer's hinting at  

As for him being Cliffjumper just because his robot mode is similar to Bumblebee's, remember, all previous TF logic goes out with the bathwater in the movieverse; after all Ratchet and Ironhide nearly always share a body type in toy lines too, and that really didn't happen in TF1-3 lol
