Random thought from that clip that goes into Optimus and Megatron's past...Megatron originally had blue optics it seems, but changed after being denied by the council. Thought it was neat and made me wonder if a Cybertronian can change the optic color at will or if it's something that happens based on their mentality (or they got some crazy stuff running thru their systems)?

Anyways, disregarding my lack of will power, quick question:
Does Optimus's body revert back to Orion's when he wakes back up after the battle?

Also: Nemesis Pr- I mean, SCOURGE for season two!  

 

I guess this explains the title for the series then? Season 2, or at least part of it, will likely deal with Orion Pax becoming Optimus Prime again, thus explaining in detail what it really means to be a Prime.

I wonder who will take temporary command- Ratchet, Arcee, or a new Autobot?

 

 

Most likely that is where season two will take us, and I cant wait!!! The writers certainly didn't hold anything back for the season one finale it seems; there was no way I saw the twist of

It would seem the TFP writers have their work cut out for them!

I think, for the time being, Ratchet and Arcee would in all likelihood split command of the Autobots. I don't see either of them just letting a new Autobot come in and take over. That is unless it was someone awesome like, say Prowl or Ultra Magnus  

 

Ratchet would be the "oldest" and probably have the most experienced warrior among the Autobots.

Unless someone will jump in take the rains for a while.

Anyway, Unicron is out of comission. Hopefully he isn't truly dead and just asleep. Plus, I think parts of his body can be interesting settings for future episodes. I have no regrets that they brought up Unicron though. They put all their cards on the table. They didn't pull any punches. We don't know what is to come, so at least we know they're going through it with guns blazing.

 

I would have paid money to hear what Soundwave said to Airacharid.

Oh well; But the fight scene was great and thankfully Soundwave had time to shine.

I guess stepping on heads is common among Decepticons.

 

Well, now that Unicron has been (potentially) destroyed, I can see that sending out a signal to The Fallen that his master has...fallen, bringing him to Earth to revive him/avenge him.

 

I saw the clip again.

Yup sure did, those eyes of his turned from blue to fire engine red.

Megatron was full of rage and resentment toward everyone in that room.

 

Considering earth is Unicron, a lot of entities will probably be even more interested in taking it for themselves.

Aside from it's resources, they'd probably want to convert it into a weapon or stockpile dark energon. Others might just want it blown up to permanently prevent Unicron's return. Also, it seems that earth attracts Cybertronian artifacts like a magnet.

Maybe the Swarm, Quintessons will start coming in. Heh, maybe even the Transformers Prime version of the Cybertronian empire.

The surviving members of the 13 will probably even be more interested.

But I'm hoping Unicron is just dormant somehow. Maybe he can haunt earth's inhabitants through other means, such as their dreams or take over random machinery, humans and objects to try revive himself. After all, if he's the earth his essence could be in every molecule or substance. Maybe not strong enough yet to move the material world as he did in the past 3 episodes, but maybe strong enough to manipulate dreams and influence thoughts.

Heh, the writers could turn him into the Freddy Kreuger of the show.

 

I'd be cool with either Jazz or Ironhide showing up   Both might not happen, at least at the same time, that would be too much awesome.

This just gave me the chills!   And its the perfect excuse to bring in Alpha Trion, which, I dont think, is beyond the realm of the possible. Heck, TFP has already shown they've got the brass to make Unicron Earth! Bringing in Alpha Trion, in comparison, isn't nearly so gutsy (though would still be incredible).

The limitless potential this show has never ceases to amaze me!

 

Personally I would love both. The 'Bots lost their most level-headed member, which I think Jazz would be great for; the cool cat who is hardly ever phased. Then Ironhide would be good for his take charge attitude.
