The last robot the Decepticon Leader killed was Optimus Prime halfway through ROTF.

Meanwhile, Optimus has roughly 3 dozen faces to his name. Someone remind me who's the villain here?

 

Teh Decepticons are week an dubm compared to Powerrful Autotobt and Noble U.S. Military Fighter Commando Soldier™ boys who are of Great Power. Why care about Decepticons When you could care of our smart and amazing military hmmmmm?

 

So, killing more people means Optimus is the villain? What sort of logic is this?

Very true. They really pushed forward the whole "Optimus is now our enemy." idea in the advertisement. Yet in the movie, he barely even had a presence. It was just mostly the humans that had a presence as the film's villainous force.

 

Excellent point but even without your point "rethink your heroes" implies this: A good guy does something bad, a bad guy does something good.

This tagline would be PERFECT for Dark of the Moon, touching on Sentinel and sorta Megs. now using that tagline for dotm ruins the entire twist of the film but still...

This tagline is HORRENDOUS for this film as Prime is not making "questionable" choices he is UNDER CONTROL, shit he even has a new freaking name, it's not him. That's why people plead insanity in murder trials because they are trying to prove it wasn't them! The tagline also does not work for any villains in this film they are all bad.

Rethink your heroes applies to nothing in this film everyone does what I could've told you they would do in the first trailer

Pretty much Bay in a nutshell

 

I won't call it logical, but it does seem to sum up that Megatron has been a piss-weak villain for the past three and a half movies.

 

Megatron should've made the deal to free his "crew" with TRF before we are introduced to IZZY. Then IMO it could play out like this:

*Megatron and cons show up in Chicago to help find Cade.

*Megatron kills Canopy.

*his "crew" kill Steelbane after he gives Cade the talisman.

*Decepticons go nuts start blowing shit up, turn on TRF and fly away.

*TRF says "oh shit we effed up" but still confront Cade, Hound, and Bee. Lennox says these are the good guys blah blah, scene plays the same but with a bit more proof they are the good guys. Maybe Cade says "you dumbasses don't even know what you've done, you have made a deal with the devil"

OR if it's written for the Movieverse Cade he says " you dumbasses don't even know what you've done, we have a saying in Texas, you made a deal with the devil, I am an inventor so I know these things cuz I am an inventor" ya know I prefer my line but whatever works best 

*Megs and crew still want that talisman and confront cade, then cade blows them up just like in the ghost town scene and AT LEAST we have seen Megs be bad, and onslaught for more than 15.34599 seconds.
