i buy both marvel and starwars.
i just buy marvel.
i just buy starwars.
i don't buy any.
I have only two of the Marvel figures, but I do much prefer their engineering over the Star Wars crossover line. How does that even happen? They're from the same company; can't they manage to succeed on both fronts?
If the Ironman/Spidey had reached $8 I would have bought it but I couldn't get myself to shelf out even $15 for it.
I haven't bopught any crossovers as 99% don't appeal to me and the Starwars ones especially seem to me to be a bad idea
thereis currently only one i want and thats the Tank Hulk
I buy both Star Wars and Marvel crossover figures. Yes, some are good, while a good many are bad, but I like the ones I have.
I acually just bought Human Torch last night. And now that I have it, I can totally understand why I still see it in every store I visit.
Different design teams. The Star Wars ones are developed by the Star Wars team, and I think the Marvel ones are by "Galoob". The Star Wars ones have to fit within the design constraints of pre-existing vehicles, so there is that handicap.
But yeah, the Marvel ones are of much higher build quality. I'd probably have bought more, but way too many Spider/Iron Man figs. I'm really eager to see how Ghost Rider turns out, though.
Tank Hulk is easily one of my favourite TF toys ever, though, Crossover or not. Wolverine is also pretty damned good, and Human Torch is at least very interesting, if flawed.
I think the most SW TFs have ever reached on that scale is "passable".
I only have two Star Wars crossovers. They're a nice novelty and appeal to me as a Star Wars fan. I'm still undecided on whether I'll buy more though.
I have no interest in the Marvel line.
I don't collect either line. The only Star Wars TF I ever bought was the Darth Star. That Yoda is tempting though.
I don't tend to buy them, however I have two Star Wars TFs, the Death Star and the Falcon.
I still want to find Thor, even with his awesomely bad alt colors. Wolverine is pretty cool, but I really like Capt. America. I'm not even sure why, what with his dopey arms. But I find him to be very fun.
The Star Wars ones were the only crossovers that got me to bite. The Vader Death Star is amazing. The falcon is fairly cool especially that alt mode.Small Vader Tie Fighter and Boba Fett Slave one are cool ships w/ poor bot modes. I always look but usually pass on them now.
The new Iron Man looks pretty good, as does Venom. They just aren't my cup of tea though.
Dont do the spin offs.
I have some from both lines. Most are reallt bad but a select few are pretty fun. Mostly the Marvel ones.
I bought a few of the early SW figures just to check them out, even though I can't stand that franchise, but they were so poorly made that I dropped the line and sold them off rather quickly.
Never tried the Marvel crossovers, since none of the characters interest me and I can't see them being any better than the SWTFs.
Ihave gotten any yet but I do want the marvel cap. he is sweet and i fucking love cap.
I despise them..I think they are just not very appealing....well, the Capt america one is cool to make something with.
I don't buy either. My son has a couple of the Star Wars ones and I just can't get behind the concept. I may have to buy that Yoda, though.
I don't but captain america intriges me.
They're loads better. General better proportions, and they actually hold together.
Tank Hulk is amazing. Even if you're not sold on Crossovers at all, still get Tank Hulk.
