Has anyone ever read this? This is quite possibly the saddest comic I have ever read next to Maus.
I have it, read it, but really don't remember it to well. I remember it was actually pretty sad though. Didn't peter write a letter about his relationship with Gwen addressed to Gwen after her death or something?
Every year at Valentines day he would go up in the attic and record a message to Gwen and tell her the story of how they fell in love.
as sad as a story abt the holocaust?
I'm speaking in terms of comics I have read.... not in terms strictly of the story.
It was very good and sad, but "Daredevil: Yellow" is my favorite of the Loeb/Sale "color" books.
agreed, but Hulk:Grey is no slouch either. A Superman For All Seasons is my favorite of their Collaborations though ~ Sale needs to ge this but in gear and finish his DC exclusive so he can get back to working with Loeb, they really bring the best out of each other
In terms of Loeb/Sale collaborations, I would have to say the Haunted Knights, Long Halloween, Dark Victory, When In Rome, (Quadrilogy?) is my favorite. I love reading those books.
I love the Loeb?Sale batman books but I also thought that spidey:blue was very well written. A very emotional story.
My favorite Loeb/Sale collection was Batman: The Long Halloween. However, even though I consider it one of the best Batman books I've read, I get the feeling that not even Jeph Loeb knows how to explain the damn ending...
