It means he will now try to further justify the no marriage policy. They aren't fixing anything. He's just digging his hole deeper. Watch it get reversed in 5 or so years when he's no longer editor in chief. It's just another stunt.

Im not entirely sure, I dont see this with fixing everything(I mean all I find wrong with that editorial decision and by extention compelling me buy spiderman) its probably a stunt to try to justify his inner workings, hell if you read the interview he basically states he had no idea how to work it.

and I said before Im not bitching about the current direction of spidey I like what I read from my friends issues, and his summaries, its just I cant forgive OMD-fanboy creed apparently:p -

Juuuust keep on reminding us of the lazy, insulting out from the hole you dug yourselves into you played, against the wishes of most fans, and an apparent good number of your talent.

... All I'll say is that Spider-Tuxedo is awesome. I'm hoping at least one cosplayer is prepping one for San Diego this year.

The fact that it's four freakin' issues instead of a one-shot special just kinda grates on me. Next it'll be a three-issue arc of Quesada smacking fans in the face with his junk.

Just look at it this way its just another step closer to the end of joe Q run and probably job prospects ever in comics.

I would like to be a better person than I am and say this could be good, it should be given a chanse and I can't judge something before I've read it... but I'm just not that guy, this will be a shit fest.

Oh God, that didn't even enter my mind until you mentioned it. Now I can't get it out of my head.

    Thanks Ominus, you bastard. :(

This interview was pretty painful. Most of Quesada's answers had a pretty heavy handed "OMG One More Day is awesome and now we're making it better YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW" spin on them.

Fuck Quesada. He ruined one of the best couples in the Marvel universe. I want MJ and Peter back together, and Aunt May dead. Stop digging the hole deeper.

Thank god. i've been wanting to get that off my chest for ages.

Not really going to impact me switching over to DC.

You guys don't like Quesada much, do you?

I stopped buying Spidey when One More Day started, and nothing has ever made me change my mind, this won't either.

Don't worry, you'll quickly learn that DC readers hate Dan Didio with equal passion.

Actually not as much Di Dio has had stupid stories (cry for justice, all the crap with arsenal and green arrow) but it hasn't been as bad as some of the stuff Joe Q did. It was at least plausible for GA to kill some one. He's done it before years ago under a much better writer. In fact it seemed to be more of a rehash of that story than anything original. Even Superboy prime punching time made more sense than one more day. He at least didn't have almost his entire staff telling him it was a bad idea like Joe Q did. But yes both editors have made some bone head moves, with the exception of Stan Lee though, editors are usually hated at some point in their careers by some part of the fandom. Lets face it there are a lot of fanatics out there. I myself have even made some speeches at the local comic store after reading an issue or two that seemed wrong. I regreted it later, but it happens. But there are some people out there who think of this as almost a religion.(They keep buying no matter how bad the comic gets) And they are never happy when things don't go according to plan.
