I read somewhere that Venom is only in the last 15 minutes of the movie.

That aside, it looks awesome.

I still would like to know where he gets the black suit in this universe.

I hope we get a scene where Venom's eating some guys brains.....or chocolate  

 

so what, noone wants to see another movie that would have carnage in it?

 

Venom was only ever midly interesting, Carnage sucked. Great idea, but always had horrid execution.

 

I don't think I'd like that, it'd be overkill, just like it was in the comics.

I agree, Carnage right now would be overkill, kinda why they didn't make Harry into the Full Fledge Green Goblin 2 in this movie or the last. Carnage in part 7, maybe  

 

Who else would have black webbing? Spidey makes his own webbing in the movies so the symbiote wouldn't need to for him, but for Eddie, the symbiote would need to make the webbing so... Black webbing for Venom.

1) Could be a dream sequence as Peter begins to fear the costume taking him over.

2) In the comics, Peter actually fought the costume itself. Could be that as well.


Not saying it's not Venom - just that it doesn't have to be.

 

The scenes are not proof that it's venom he's fighting. It could be him fighting the suit before he rips it off, hell he could be havng a nightmare about the way the costume is affecting him...

 

I don't see why the symbiote would make a bunch of webs, and it seems overly elaborate for a dream sequence to me. Did you guys check out the IDMB post I linked to? I personally buy it.

I agree there's no guarantees of anything right now though.

The parts showing the black webbing go from day to night with Spidey in various states of battle damage to his costume, just seems too much to me for it to be a dream.

It's impossible to know who's wrong or right though at this point so I've no intention to bitch back and forth.

 

I agree. The scenes showing black webbing in the trailer makes it look like a pretty big battle. Too big to just be a dream. And some how I doubt the suit would fight without a host in the film.

This movie is gonna rock! Awesome clip there even most of the cgi was unfinished. Finally seeing movie Venom on screen was cool. I just hope there is a big battle between him and Spider-Man.
