The sound is instantly recognizable by a transformers fan, so much so many can emulate the sound with their mouth, but can we do as well writing it?

    Giggedy giggedy goo!

Er - I mean 'kuk kuk kuk koo kee'? With a bit of Scouse phlegm on the first 'k' of each word. Try saying 'Could you cut coo-kie?' really fast with a Cookie Monster voice. :p

I'm sure there's an official spelling somewhere. But it's one of those sound phrases that's really hard to translate to spelling in a satisfactory way.

The original sound I'd write as: Ho-ha-hah-hik :lol

One of my favourite Transformation noises is Movie Starscream, which I'd write as: Chee-cha-chi, with extra metally sound effects :lol

There's an issue of Stephanie Brown Batgirl that spells it out in a pretty cool way. I'll have to dig it up when I get home.

    Chk-chk-chk-chk-CHK

Meh, my version works better with only three pulses (chk-chk-CHK).

Pretty much this. Any variation on "Tch-tchk-chk-tchik-tchok" and the like.
