Megatron repainted into Rewind lolololol

 

I know it won't happen, but I'd love it if they briefly brought back scouts just for Tailgate and Swerve.

 

my idea would be to make them a scout class figure, pack it on a deluxe cardback, but include some extra accessories to beef up the parts count. or just throw the two together into a twopack, or just toss them into two pack with a deluxe character, then sell that at the voyager class

 

Like a new Cyclonus with Tailgate and Swerve?
Although I wouldn't need that, I'm perfectly fine with my Cyclonus from the Three-Pack Challenge at Cybertron.

I hope for a Rodimus Spotlight and a Rodimus toy. But if it is a Bumblebee retool, I'm gonna probably barf.

I love the colors of my Henkei Rodimus and the chrome, but the figure itself looks out of place in my collection. Everyone looks better. Especially Blurr who stands next to him. Or even Kup, who also stands next to him.

 

Love that idea.

Actually, though the two + 1 might make more sense, I'm now envisioning Cyclonus + Tailgate, Skids + Swerve, and dare I say it, Chromedome + Rewind.

A lad can dream, right?

 

Oh yeah, that would be cool.

 

Aaaaaand this is why I'm not into this spotlight/toy mix. Conversation about the comics has degenerated into discussion about which toys people want.

Isn't that what the toy discussion board is for?

I'm all for people wanting toys of their favourite characters, but let the stories dictate which character s deserve a spotlight, not gaps on peoples shelves.

Eh? The name of the thread is 'Upcoming Spotlights getting toys' what did you think was going to be discussed therein?

 

Not to mention this is clearly a case of....."Can you guys do some Spotlights for these characters were making toys of?"

We've even read interviews where they were asked to use specific body designs, and include at least some reference to Metroplex.

The characters for these spotlights were never selected because the story dictated it. Hasbro was doing some new Generations and asked IDW to write some stories about them.
