Wrong and wrong. Beechen started his role as story editor then became producer later on as Season 1 was developed as he told himself in early interviews, but the actual direction tone and focus of the series was set by Jeff Kline, Steven Melching and Duane Capizzi before Adam was even invited to work on the show. As Jeff and the others left the studio to pursue their own interests Adam became the sole show runner but Season 1 and the entire set up was defined by people that worked on Prime and Hasbro. You're barking up the completely wrong tree and you're completely out of line, specially considering that the seasons where Adam was in charge by himself (2, 3 and 4) are the ones that actualy bothered making more connections to Prime. The assumption that Hasbro would sue him is even more bafflingly stupid. All season storylines, characters and more are approved by Hasbro first hand, every single choice and demand goes thru them first, any creative freedom anyone is allowed depends on how nice Hasbro is feeling that day.
