We know its probably going to happen. Just like ROTF, retailers will over-order on the first few waves and they will be sitting on the pegs once everyone got their share.

Who do you think will become the next Mudflap? :p

    Here are my guesses:

Cyberverse Bumblebee is a good candidate
Human Alliance Bee repaint and skids repaint, but especially Bee.
Voyager Megatron maybe there a while

    This thread is needed.

I'm voting Lazerbeak and an ubiquitous repaint of, oooh, one of the Wreckers.

Personally, I'm getting voyager Megatron. That and Hatchet are probably the only ones that float my boat (having been disappointed in Powerglide).

hmmm. let me see. this time around they will all disappear fast. like HA jazz. buy them all when you can. this won't stay on shelves too long.

i disagree with HA bees and skids since there are no word of other HAs coming out and this will probably be the last time we'll see them. plus the new decos are awesome. i want at least five of these like i did with rts jazz and gen blurr.

voyager megatron i disagree with as well since this is the first time we see him as a truck which mirrors prime. i would buy five of these as well. these won't stay long in the aisles.

if you don't believe me. here's a taste:

Leaders. Economy just not good enough to support toys at that pricepoint for kids.

    Crankcase.

Cyberverse BB only because there's 3 of him for every one Cyberverse Starscream.

Also HA Bumblebee for the same reason. Way too many verses the packmate.

Yeah I can also see Cyberverse Bee being a shelfwarmer. Skids & Mudflap as well... no doubt about that. I don't care if they've been repainted or retooled, those are one of those figures that are not on peoples top priority list, unlike the wreckers, that's a whole different story.. I for sure won't be getting Skids nor Mudflap, I'm happy with there human alliance counterparts, I think the HA ones are masterpieces of these 2 goof balls..

    Anything that's a retool of a non-major character.

    Sideswipe
    Jolt
    Barricade

Those would be my guesses as of now. The Cyberverse stuff will be hit or miss and I'm not going to hazard a guess on those

    lol :p

Well, I was very tempted to say all the bumblebee. We know that collectors are getting sick of them, mostly. However, he is probably as popular as ever with the kids, so I don't think many of them will peg warm. That's my logic. At the same time, those that are interesting to collectors and short packed, probably won't self warm, too. But I am certain that even kids are getting tired of repaints of HA bee.

I would think Mudflap, Voyager Prime and maybe Leader Bumblebee will be the least popular.

But I think the most popular will be Shockwave, Sentinel Prime and Roadbuster.

Were any of the wave 1/2 RotF toys really what you would consider shelfwarmers? Not that I remember. Maybe Demolishor, Ratchet, and Chromia.

I have a bad feeling about Skyhammer. Not sure why Hasbro feels that the Autobots need to have a Big Flying Thing in the first wave.

I do wonder how the Cyberverse sets and Commanders will sell in general. That will appeal to some kids (more parents) but they are sitting right next to the big flashy versions of the same characters.

Those are probably good guesses...but they are also NOT retools.

Sorry, to me, remakes/remolds/retools/repaints are all one in the same in movie-verse. I know that's not how it "officially" is, but it's a different take on the same characters, who weren't major players. That's the point I was trying to make and should have clarified it a bit better. The different molds of those three will sit for a while because they weren't exactly memorable, and barricade's been a non-factor since Movie 1

I don't think kids will want Ironhide after seeing the movie.

    Does he go down with
shooting him? Or afterwards he takes a bunch of cons with him in a blaze of glory?

I don't want to elaborate for those who want to avoid spoilers. Just answering the OP question.

I'm thinking the bigger figures will move the slowest because if people feel like their budget is under too much pressure then the bigger figures get moved to being a birthday or Christmas present instead of an impulse buy.

Deluxe figures should still move well unless there is some controversy over the character in the film.
