for having the most DLC available while having it priced so high that the entire library of its DLC costs four times the price of the actual game. Bravo.

I'm actually quite surprised so much is avialable for it, is it that popular of a game. Anyway any recommendations on what DLC to pick up, if any as i've just bought Burnout Paradise?

Of course i'm always up for some online fun (pending internet connection) if anyone is up for it (xbox 360) :)

Uh, pick up all the free stuff. The party pack is pointless and get Big Surf Island.

Ignore the extra cars, they add very little.

Also, lets set up a session for this weekend if you're free. It's fun :D

Yeah i'm free, also where are the crash sections from previous games? the manual says something about pressing RB+LB to activate it but nothing happens, is that a feature for later in the game?

The game is pretty and i'm enjoying the endless roads, i can see this sucking up quite a bit of my time :D

It's not the same, your car becomes a shitty pinball and the pins are the traffic. It's, frankly, gubbins compared to the previous games version.

Well as I got the ulitmate Box version it seems it already has the free stuff like the bikes etc, so I'll just get the big surf island add on and leave it at that.

Got the show time thing just now and yeah its disappointing compared to burnout 3 and the like, the crash junctions were my favourite part of the game. Oh well it still has some form of destruction so all is well.

I got the Legendary Cars pack, and I enjoy those cars esp. Nighthawk. But these cars aren't mandatory so you can get them if you like them.

I dont see how anyone can hate on burnout paradise's DLC.

most of it is FREE. massive, massive expansions were added completely free. its more than any other company has ever done. they kept pouring money into it, and releasing stuff for free to extend the life of the game. and eventually, yeah, they had to start paying for all that extra development, so they released some paid DLC as well.

no reason to get mad. criterion was being incredibly generous.

I wasn't mad by it, just surprised by how much there was and it isn't hard to notice to overall tallying cost. I do agree there is no such thing as too much DLC as someone gets something out of it, even if I don't.

Maybe its because I played the game in short bursts over long periods of time but I never saw much from the free DLC. They added (two) bikes, which I didn't like, and the day night cycle just caused me to wreck more until I finally figured how to turn it off. I had to google how to find the restart option too.

The Legendary cars were well worth the purchase to me but everything else has seemed slightly overpriced.

I have all of the DLC, including paid. And I must say that it was well worth it. The only pack that was way overpriced was the Boost Specials. Everything else was decent. With the island you do get the best of 2 worlds in regards of cars, you get Toy versions of the Legendary cars pack. And the Buggy rocks for stunts.

Played online yesterday and it was a blast, lots of chaos and powerparking FTW!

I love this game! So far I've bought the legendary cars and big surf island. Most fun I've had in a driving game since the original first few Need For Speeds back in the day.
