Forgive the total Newb question I just wanted to make sure I get this right. To form the Fans Project Bruticus. You need Munitioner/Explorer and then a Hasbro Bruticus Maximus set. Is that correct???

    Oh yes. That is correct...

Technically you can use the Energon / Superlink Comaticons, too...

The green tank and purple copter look decent...

I have Energon Baricade as the torso, ROTF Vortex, ROTF Brawl and the FP set combined.

    LOVE IT!

    Great figure.

Dude, there are so many fucking sets you can use for the FP kit:

    Energon Bruticus

    ROTF Bruticus

    Nexus Maximus

And then the unreleased ROTF Scouts Gunbarrel and Reverb.

Right now on the two I have:

And on the third I'm getting next week I'm going to use Energon Barricade, Reverb and Gunbarrel.

Technically you only need 3/5 of of any of the sets mentioned above. You can get the 3 parts who need separately but they have gone up ion price as the sets have , not quite as badly as full sets but still.

    thanks! ^_^

    Redo!

A body, a tank, and a helicopter: The two bruticus sets each come with a body two tanks and two helicopters... the thanks and helicopters ae all exactly the same, just repaints, so you pretty much get to pick and choose colors. Nexus Maximus only comes with a a body, one tank, and one helicopter, and the other two are redecos of the Superion limbs.

If you can only buy one piece at a time, you should DEFINITELY buy the FP parts first; they're in lower supply and MUCH higher demand.

Thats why I am trying to trade off or sell of my Animated collection That way if I sell it I can get enough for both the Bruticus with FP extras and the Superion with FP add ons.

I just thought of something if I add them to my pile of loot doesn't that mean the items are held for me untill I am ready to pay for them?

No, pile of loot just means that it builds a big pile (in their warehouse) to keep your shipping cost down but you have to pay for the items as they go in there.

THis or your gonna regret it big time later as the price is sure to go through the roof.

no you pay as you add them , but i wish it worked like you asked, would be very handy but it would be bad for business.

I was one of those folks that hem-hawed around regarding ordering this set. I finally broke down and ordered it a couple of weeks ago from BBTS and I have to tell you it is the best Transformer money I've spent in a long time. I'm totally thrilled with it.

Having said that, if you can only buy one piece at a time, I would suggest you delay whatever else you can and get this set ASAP. You will be able to get the hasbro stuff for them later as, bottom line, the supply far outweighs the demand given how many versions there have been.

    Just my two cents.
