All of you guys talking about removing the stickers, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves..... oh who the hell am I kidding, I'm gonna remove them too!

 

I'm amused that we didn't hear about this earlier, since how hard can it be to print off a bunch of stickers?

Anyways, I wonder why they just didn't up and call him "Dragstrip" or "Wildrider" or, hell, even "Motormaster", just to keep the Stunticon theme going instead of taking the name from Armada's dimension-hoping mini-con.

 

Only amongst British soccer (football?) moms, where this figure won't be released. American soccer moms aren't going to lose any sleep over that.  

Well, I could be wrong but I thought Hasbro lacks the trademark for "Dragstrip", it has to be "Decepticon Dragstrip", which wouldn't fit on the sticker. And does this guy even look remotely like a homage to Wildrider or Motormaster (another name Hasbro doesn't have the trademark to)?

 

I'm not picking him up (out of no other reason that I'm picking up only the first use of each mold so I can avoid duplicates), but awesome about the stickers. Good news for those that like the original name.

I'm glad this is still coming out. I was worried they would cancel the line without releasing the last announced figures (like Animated). Over-run? We went from offensive to possibly prophetic. How many would guess this'll become an overstocked shelf warmer like most 5-packs?

The first thing I'll do when I get him is remove the stickers. I want my, Spastic.

 

I'm going to have to fight the urge to remove the stickers from the Spastic's I see in-store.

 

I have seen him being offered for pre-order as Menasor with Stunticon drones too. (only loose images mind) I wonder where they got that name from - just a guess I asume based on G1.
or a incorrect solicitation.

I have to wonder though - why no wave mate ? all the rest came out in 2's and there's more drones that have yet to see a repaint.

I wonder if it's got something to do with what is being produced for sale still at the moment and the other moulds are not yet free to make a repaint ?

I just find it curious that all the rest came out in VS pairs though.

 

I wonder if they put stickers on the instructions or reprinted them?

 

Love the sticker. It's coming off as soon as I hit the parking lot...maybe sooner.

 

I just got Leadfoot a couple days ago and I really like the toy...and Spastic has better colors so it's an obvious buy (that + Stunticon homage + the awesome Spastic Controversy Incident = win).

If they do ship with stickers instead of a reprinted box, I will happily remove the stickers and keep this guy with his intended name.
