Meh...looks like a plane landing...seen a few before. Not sure it is "too beautiful and elegant to describe"....I will describe it.....it looked like a plane landing.....a cool and differently designed plane..... ?

Sure looks that way. It still seems a bit too easy to be prone to catastrophic malfunctions though.

The design looks like something from Gundam.

I must be retarded or something. What was so elegant and special about this? It folded its wings up and down and then landed.

So it takes a floating feather dynamic to slow the shuttle when in decent...? That is pretty cool to look at.

I can't wait for those first riders to subsidize the trip down to the point where I'd only need to sell one kidney and part of my liver for a flight. I would love to have the passport stamp from Spaceport America. See the look on the TSA guy's face when he breezes through it.

It is hard to really check out what it is doing since the camera watching it in that video is on mondo zoom. It is using very interesting engineering feats to slow the craft back down without having to have massive thermal panels or retro-rockets.

hmmmm.....maybe if we saw video of the whole process, and from less zoom, it would be a little more spectacular...

looked pretty cool. I'm more excited about the idea it represents, people being able to go to space without being an astronaut. at $200,000.00 a person though, maybe my kids kids will be able to go lol.

Also, pretty cool design too. when the wings moved as it landed was probably the best part.
