    lately i become awfully interested in the warhammer 40k in general and it got me thinking who would win in a fight 6 of the best ultra marine vs 6 of the best wreckers

    Well seeing as Astartes (yes I'm using the fancy term) are at best 8 foot tall then.....Wreckers as they are giant robots.

    If they have access to wargear, ie rhinos, dreads etc then maybe the marines as I think Lascannons will make short work of the bots.


    Oh by the way I'm a 40K Loremaster.

    1. Which version of the Wreckers; G1, IDW Last Stand, or Movie?

    2. How many Space Marines

    3. Are they normal Space Marines, or Ultramarines?

    I'll assume the former.

    Six of the best Ultramarines? Well I would assume that would be Marneus Augustus Calgar the current chapter Master. Varro Tigurius the chief Librarian. Ortan Cassius, Master of Sanctity/ High Chaplain, Cato Sicarius Captain of the second company, and maybe Uriel Ventris Captain of the Fourth Company if you're on one of those die-hard Matt Ward haters who think Ventris should be where Cato is. The 6th would probably be a Dreadnought for their age, wisdom and fearsome weaponry.

    Which version of the Wreckers?

    And why are we treating the Smurfs as gods? :p

    The Ultramarines are so boring and vanilla. Sure, they're the epitome of loyalist Marines, but c'mon. Unless they're in Terminator armor, they'd have no chance against a group of bots that are all pretty much huge Terminators themselves.
    Sure, mass-reactive shells and plasma cannons could cause issues, but hit-and-run tactics against them would be devastating.
    Want some fun? Khorne Berserkers, Possessed, Night Lords or Alpha Legion would be better.
