I saw that episode and I have to admit I suspected it would cause controversy. Even though it was funny as hell.

I am glad we have a first hand opinion on this. Seriously, no matter where you are there will always be some crying vagina who can't take a joke.

    Like Tom Cruise.

yeah, they have a big following over here, we lap up all their movies n shit. but like everywhere, we do have some dorks who take things too seriously. i mean, you can't take comedy seriously by nature. grow up people! or i'll shit in your mouth!

That's about it. If South Park hasn't made you squirm at least once, you either weren't paying attention, or are very thick skinned.

    The queen comitting suicide?

What about the episode where the trailer for the new Terrence and Phillip move aired on the Russel Crow Fights Around the World Show, Sheri needs tampons and when they finally arrive back at the house blood bursts out the door and washes the kids away.

Now -that- was some funny fucking shit.

Makin' movies, makin' songs, and fightin' 'round the world. That was one of the funniest episodes ever, and caused me and my friends to permanently refer to Master and Commander as Fightin' 'Round the World.

As for the thread topic, people need to chill. This is the kind of thing South Park does, and has done for a long, long time. I suppose that people don't bitch until something they care about is involved, though.

She'll probably go sickhouse on Matt and Trey's asses.

But to be honest, I KNEW something like this was gonna happen. Right when I saw the queen committing suicide, I said to myself, "Aaaaaaaaaaaand they're gonna get in deep shit again for doing something like this." Seriously, Matt and Trey have been offending people since the show's first episode (I think). And the Queen is no different. She's in the same boat with Tom Cruise, Barbara Streisand, Oprah, Angelina Joeline (That how you spell her last name?) and many other celebrities. People have got to learn that stuff like this is gonna happen, and you have to accept it.

Further proof that the British have no sense of humor... except when it comes to Red Dwarf.

Dude, seriously, the shows whole premise is to maintain a comedic atmosphere while offending just about everyone (I've never been offended, but than I'm an asshole in real life... just ask Dark Magnus... I'm nicer on the boards than IRL...) and having some kind of underlined moral -if people bother to pay attention- or just some in your face truth about a subject that a lot of today's world cultures -especially us American bastards- need to have thrown at us for good measure.

Of course, some things, like the afformentioned tampon episode, are just damned ridiculously funny... I don't think there was any prolific truth or underlined moral in that episode.

...wel, except that Russel Crowe is a giant duche... and when a chick needs tampons damn it she needs tampons!...

...oh, and never press buttons on a brand new TV without reading the manual or you could have a killer TV on your hands... :lol

Although, I do wonder, with some of the stuff British Comedian Eddie Izzard has actually said about the Queen... I have to wonder why the Brits aren't a little more thick skinned? Or is it, like here in the US, where a small offended group makes more noise than the people who just laugh and take it at face value?
