I watch it occasionally. I just don't like some of the Satan, Towel, and those two farting guy's episodes.
It's hit and miss, to be perfectly honest. My favorite episodes are Major Boobage, Butters' Bottom Bitch, Make Love Not Warcraft, Fatbeard, Christian Rock Hard, Sexual Harassment Panda, The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers, Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy and The Red Badge of Gayness.
Those are only available in times of war. BTW, I just discovered something incredible. As a Spanish-speaker, I sometimes enjoy Disney's move to not only translate their movies well, but they also translate all of the songs in their movies. Recently I bought South Park The Movie on Bluray and was happy to discover that it had a spanish spoken track. But what really blew my mind was discovering that the songs had all been redone in Spanish. Yes... Uncle Fucker in Spanish. It was like watching the movie for the first time.
Dude as bad and funny as the crude jokes are the shows really creative and cleaver espically the episode where the Natives American Casino tries to destroy South Park, It's the total opposite of what normally transpires. Also it's awesome because of Cartman. I relate to Cartman in many ways minus the Anti-Semitism and killing my father and feeding him to my arch-nemesis.
I love South Park, it's by far my favorite animated sitcom. I love how they take current issues and totally blow them out of proportion. Randy Marsh is my favorite character.
Like Nacthsider said, its a hit and miss really. Season 14 has been alright so far but I worry, the last episode aired was pretty mediocre
Easily among my favourite shows and something I may pick up the boxsets for when I have the spare money for it.
It indeed has been hit and miss with this show, with South Park rising magnificiently to the occasion with hits... and they really suck when they miss. My favorite episode hands down has been 200 and 201. Will explain later, I'm tired. But the other favorites: 1. Imaginationland, the whole deal. Just hilarious, from Bay and Shymalan, Snarf, the Christmas Critters coming back, and an epic battle between good and bad imaginary characters. And Santa with a gold battle axe FTW. And Cartman's sheer obsession with Kyle in this episode, at first glance brings many questions to my mind, but then I realize the sheer depth of Cartman's drive this time. 2. Night of the Living Homeless. Probably the best out of Season 11 besides Imaginationland. The whole living dead parody, a new meme with "Change?", and Randy going psycho while surviving on the roof of the community center. And of course, Cartman jumping the homeless. And the final rap of "California Love" for the homeless... win. "We're out of Pop Tarts! We're gonna starve!" Randy yelled. Someone finds some more. Randy goes, "No! Those are cherry! Eeegh!" 3. Scot Tenorman Must Die. I gotta say, this was a pretty damn good episode. Though, for the most part, it seems like a normal episode revolving around Cartman's greed... until we see what Cartman did to get revenge. That single ending pretty much made the list for me. You realize Cartman isn't just some fat spoiled bitch anymore - he's a psycopathic, murderous bitch. And he doesn't even need to kill them himself. 4. Good Times With Weapons. The whole anime influence is awesome, and Butters returning as Professor Chaos is epic. And need I mention when they seriously hit Butters in the eye with a Shuriken?
South Park - Season 14 Thread THE NEW ONE STARTS IN A FEW MINUTE FOR ME! I can't wait.... But ya, this is a thread for talking about Season 14 of South Park... =P
Personally, I think this season's been pretty bland. The only episodes I found amusing were Medicinal Fried Chicken and You Have 0 Friends. 200 created a lot of high expectations that the follow-up failed to deliver.
