Anyone else catch the new South Park last night? I thought it was a pretty damn funny episode. Had to do with the whole Michael Richards N-word fiasco, plus Cartman constantly making fun of a midget. And as usual, we all learned our lessons at the end. Hopefully this season will be just as good or better than last season, which I thought was the best season so far.

I thought it was great. I was in tears at the beginning when they started putting in the letters on WoF

Hilarious. The faces of the crowd and the camera man at the begining, the midget, Randy, Cartman's antics, etc. They started the season pretty strong, let's just hope they continue to offer us such gems.

It just gets better and better. I watch the old episodes and they're so self-contained within South Park that while they were funny back then they just pale in comparison to what they're making now.

This episode was just gold for me. Randy saying the n-word on accident, then we see Cartman laughing at a midget who is LITERALLY a midget stereotype, and best off, we see Michael Richards (the guy who played Kramer on Seinfeld) helping Randy with the name-calling. PERFECT.

Here's to a great ELEVENTH season! :thumb

I loved how Cartman never used the pronoun "him" for the midget, he just kept saying "it."

The funniest thing was when the episode was over and I switched over to Animal Planet and they were talking about beavers and mentioned them being called little people, right after hearing Cartmen suggest they get 8 more midgets and dress them up as beavers.

Meh, I wasn't that impressed with it. While I really liked the points they were making, other than a select few moments, I didn't think the episode was all that funny. I'll have to watch this one again, but it seemed like a mediocre start to the season.

    Best exchange:
"Jesse Jackson isn't the emperor of black people!"
"...he told my dad he was..."

    Highlights:
    - Cartman vs the midget.
    - Unveiling the letters on Wheel of Fortune.
    - "Whites win again!"

    Low Point:
    - Cartman laughing at the midget in the auditorium went on too long. There was no way that much time needed to be devoted to laughter in that scene especially when the "Cartman finds the midget unbelievably funny" point would be made repeatedly throughout the episode.
    - Entire midget subplot felt tagged on.

Best exchange was in the Principal office when Mr Mackey and Principal Victoria were trying to reason with the midget that it's probably best for him to just let it go. Then Cartman walks in and talks about getti a bunch of these things and dressing them up as beavers.

I got yelled at by my wife for laughing at the little person jokes Cartman kept making.

I seem to remember a two-parter last season about the role of cenorship in comedy that had a small reference to FG, but nothing about South Park being jealous about a show that's so simple it could be written by Manatees.

Last night's episode of SP was the funniest I've ever seen. Though it was quite obscene how they kept on using the N-word, I just so loved the midget subplot.

My favorite part was when all the kids were at the assembly to hear the guest speaker talk about tolerance of other people's differences, and then the midget walks. I just burst with laughter as soon as the midget walked out. The midget was a total stereotype, which made the very sight of the him so damn funny! So I just laughed at the midget along with Cartman, and by how Cartman was laughing too made the whole scene even funnier! I laughed so hard that tears came out of my eyes!:lolol  :lolol  :lolol  :lolol

I usually don't laugh about/at midget jokes or midget characters of any sort, but boy do Trey and Matt work wonders. Cheers to SP's 11th season being a good one.

Using the N word was pretty much necessary to be able to make the point that they wanted to make, white people shouldn't use the word because they have absolutely no basis at all to judge the impact it has on a black person's feelings. If Randy hadn't said it, then they wouldn't be able to make the N-guy jokes that led Randy to say that black people don't understand what it's like to be called a N-guy.
