This is a poll battle for who should voice Soundwave out of the following:

Frank Welker: He voiced Soundwave in G1 and still has a great voice. Why shouldnt he return?

MacInTalk: The reason why I choose "MacInTalk" is because the program provided the voice for Auto in WALL-E. It's just a very creepy and Soundwave-ish kind of voice. Should this program get another encore?

EDIT: When I mean Soundwave in the poll options, I mean Frank Welker, because he is Soundwave :thumb

EDIT 2: Don't hate me for this...

I voted: Soundwave. And I don't mean Frank Welker either. What the filmmakers REALLY need to do is build a fully functional Soundwave robot and have it voice himself.

You know, I've thought about this, and I've come to realise why Animated Soundwave's voice kind of blows: The voice actor played him monotone.

Frank Welker played Soundwave like Dr Claw, as he was unaware that they were going to flange and process the hell out of his voice for Soundwave, so he still acted with emotion for Soundwave, his voice going up and down. As I recall, Welker was reportedly disappointed with G1 Soundwave's final voice.

good old soundwave would be good, but the autopilot in wall-e did have a cool voice that would probably sound enough like soundwave but realsitic enough for one of the movie bots
