    IF Soundwave speaks, it shouldn't be some random 'no sense' line. It should be a jaw-dropping amazing line that sends chills down you spine!(oh I rhymed!)

    Basically Soundwave has no personality, if he speaks I'm thinking something with extreme lack of emotion.

    He already has a vocoder. He just pirates everybody else's speech and runs it through a filter. And honestly, that decision is summarily awesome. He communicates in a Soundwave-y way without technically saying anything.

    The vocoder's bad because it's G1 right?

    Who's to say they can't put a new spin on it, like Frank did for his Megatron voice? Soundwave is a creepy dude, and he HAS the vocoder (so get over it), but that doesn't mean he's gonna sound like a broken radio if he speaks.

    I'd be fine with him having a G1-ish voice (which is in all likelihood what will probably happen).

    I just really wouldn't want him to talk unless the situation is dramatically perfect for him to do so, not just getting his face cracked by two dudes then going SOUNDWAVE SUPERIOR HURR

    The show's creators apparently share my sentiments, so I doubt he'll talk in this episode unless some really epic, groundbreaking shit goes down.

    It's fine on G1 Soundwave, but on Prime or Movie Soundwave like folks are begging (and bitching in Movie Soundwave's case) for?

    No. That just doesn't fit.

    I'm fine with a G1 style voice but a g1 quote would be ******ed out of the sheer fact that everything the dude said in G1 WAS extremely ******ed.

    Speaking of G1 vocoded Soundwave, his WFC version is like the polar opposite of Prime Soundwave. There was some instances where I had to say to myself "Man, he never shuts up in this game". :lol
