I found some plastic clear cubes that look kind of like empty energon cubes at the http://www.containerstore.com they only cost me 39 cents each plus tax so I plan to use them for stop motion animation.

now someone needs to figure out the exact right shade of paint to make it "full energon cube" and then put in a small led and battery outfit (like the one in the new crazydevy head) so it'll glow.

Possibly belongs in Transformers Toy Discussion.

The idea is great, but i am dreading the 3rd party prices for a set of plastic cubes.

How many do you have to buy to feed 30 robots? LOL! Seriously, that would be a cool addition to any Transformer collection. I plan on getting some someday.

You could fill those empty cubes up with something like purple glitter to give the cubes some sort of a sparkly sheen.
I would like to get a few of these! :)  Thanks for the link.

Those purple cubes look cool. They would certainly make for a nice diorama.

I "discovered" :lol  them and posted it in another thread too, and spurred a whole bunch of other people to also buy them as well.

The large yellow ones have also been proposed as Mirage-Invisibility-Cubes.

The Container store should start offering a TFW2005 referral discount. ;)

    Yes, yes indeed.

Mind that the pictures are pretty old now and I've since removed Mirage from his inviso-box upon getting the Henkei version.

I still have yet to do it as it keeps slipping my mind, but I also want to mix a bottle of Games Workshop Water Effects with some clear paints to get a fuchsia-ish color, then give them a coat of clear pearl for some shine. Filled Energon Cubes.

In the "bad ideas no one should actually do" department, I started wondering what it would look like if one cracked open one of those chemical glow-sticks and poured the liquid into one or more of those containers.

8.50 for shipping sucks for some extremely light weight tiny boxes. I wish there were a container store nearby.
