He's not a dumb brute in this scenario, he's the malicious Machiavelli he's supremely powerful but he doesn't show it.

 

I'd like to see him as a powerful character, but not physically.

 

Sure. I would think Soundwave's power lays in skill and strategy, then in brute force.

 

Yep, I always cringe when I read that.

 

Considering he has the musical modulation overlaying his recorded playbacks, I wouldn't be surprised if it plays over any actual dialog. I love how subtle it is, though, rather than dominating his lines.

 

I hope Soundwave do have a voice.
