    Has it ever ben revealed exactly what they did to Welkers Dr Claw voice to make it into the iconic Soundwave?

    It's apparently very difficult to get the effect just right. I don't think Soundwave had his proper voice for *any* of his Season 3 appearances.

    He addressed it before. All he did was credit the guy that did the sound editing.

    Would have been nice if they'd at least tried to reproduce Soundwave's voice in the live-action TF movies. You'd think that they'd try to get all of the four most iconic voices right: Prime (check), Megs, Starscream and Soundwave.

    It's not like those voices wouldn't translate well to film or anything. Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread, just venting.

    this^,its ran through a synthesizer and tweeked until the desired resault is reached.

    as long as he wasnt the first auto tune pioneer...

    Andor- I agree, he looked ridiculous in those movies but even more disappointing was him not SOUNDING like Soundwave.
