I have noticed the TRU commemorative Soundwave (with the two cassette capacity Soundblaster chest) came with two cassette cases which would fit Ravage or Laserbeak when in cassette form.

My question is, will a transformed Ravage or Laserbeak fit in a regular (real) microcassette case?

I don't have a microcassette case to check, and I also don't have a Ravage to try it in if I did! Just won a Soundwave on ebay and thinking of some display ideas.

    Thanks!

They'll slide into the case, but it won't close as the holes in the cassettes are too small for the spindles. If I can find a tapecase somewhere I'll post a pic.

Thanks! That's easy enough to fix with a scalpel. I put my chances at finding some original Cassettron cases at close to zero (unless anybody wants to sell me some, or some out of the TRU commemorative box :D ) so I was thinking outside the box (lame pun intended). Cheers.

You can see in the first pic that the holes are too small compared to an actual cassette.

I've tried to pick up extra TF tape cases, but they're not easy to find. Adapting actual tape cases is probably you're best bet.

    Ebay:
Just cut off the plastic that goes into the holes & it should be fine.

There were some early KO's that did come in plastic cases. I can remember buying them at a dollar store.
