The original is probably lost somewhere deep in the bowels of TFW and I realized I hadn't done a repost yet. So to all you Soundwave fans, enjoy! Setting: G1 Soundwave: Loyalty and Hate “Megatron!” I yell. The blast hits me! As the numbing pain sets in, my mind drifts back to the beginning of this journey, and I remember a fateful decision from long ago… 8.3 astroseconds left in the arena match. I hear the aftershock of the defending champion slamming his opponent to the ground. Then, before all, he fires his fusion cannon, eliminating his challenger. Such power! The crowd is stunned silent. Such deliberate termination is enough to call for his banishment from the sport. The champion knows the risk he takes. I do the forbidden and dare to venture into his thoughts. In him I see a grand vision for Cybertron’s future. As commentator I must remain impartial… All look to me for my ruling. I declare Megatron the undisputed victor. As the hungry crowd cheers, the champion finds his first ally. And as the dream of memory fades… I awaken to the drum of my fuel pump. The humming vibration of my systems testifies that I am back online. Cogs turn and gears tick with a clockwork precision that assures me of no sustained damage before my internal diagnostics conclude the same. I can determine the status of my internal workings from the minutest cacophonous echo within. All systems in harmony mark perfect working order. The purr of Ravage within indicates his satisfactory operating efficiency. I hear the grating laugh of the traitorous lieutenant whose null ray, meant for Megatron, I intercepted. My revenge shall come in the sounds of Starscream’s sweet silence. After all these vorns, I still know where my loyalties lie. The End...for now.
Not bad, I like your style. I definetly want to see this continued or a more worked-out/detailed version.
Aw NICE! These brief glimpses into a characters psyche can be even more illuminating than an entire story arc. I like how you have given Soundwave's reason for following Megatron. I wonder though, if he realized that it would lead to such planetary destruction. Or did he see that too? Only the author can tell. Will more be coming?

I like this insight as to how Soundwave became Megatron's loyal minion. Soundwave's my favorite Decepticon from G1, and he still is among my favorite Transformers. Looking forward to reading more from you.
