I have an idea. Mail me your Soundwave and I'll fix the head. But only on the condition that you let me hold onto it until I find my own Soundwave in the stores. Deal?

Erm, do you mean you can't fold the head platform down into the area between two chest hinges?

All I did on my GF Soundwave (WITH HIS CROOKED WAIST HINGE GRRRRR) was pop off Soundwave's head, push down the headplatform and pop the head back on. Well I wouldn't recommending doing that alot if you're worried about the balljoint getting damaged one day.

Did Hasbro fix the waist hinge? On many Takara GF Soundwaves, the large hinge connecting the torso to the waist was crooked, preventing correct transformation of the fighter mode.

The GF one has more paint aps. Mainly silver paint aps on his head and wings. When I find Soundwave i'll probably paint the silver onto his head that Hasbro left off.

Yay! Better to miss paint apps than to have a Transformer that can't transform properly.

I have Soundblaster, but I would assume my method would work.

Before you swivel the torso and legs into place, use the double hinge that the head is on and swivel the back swivel down, then angle up the front swivel. Then swing the Torso into place and tab in the shoulders, the head should be nice and low.

Hmmm, if I remembered correctly the paint on my GF Soundwave's wings were gold? Dang, need to check it when I return home later.
