    I just got my first soundwave for 10c :)  Im am so happy:D , How can I tell If It is reissuse or the 86 realease?

    Ebay:
    there is blue in between the buttons on the original (they are coming through the plastic) whereas the reissues all have a silver block of buttons, hope that helps

    Thank you! has silver metal like buttons,He's missing his cannon and missle.

    It dosent matter really not he's like rare!, I was shocked mom brought him in, with a power ranger and some starwars transfomer for all for 10c a piece. Still cant belive it!

    yah he is a rerelease and the power ranger figures is a bad guy from Power Rangers Mystic force can't remember his name though

    Pull the battery cover off of the back. I have found the cannons in there several times when I have purchased one from somebody who doesn't know what he is.

    that's the original one, see how the forward and reverse buttons are seperate from the rest? the others are one solid piece and they stick out more

    like some other poster stated. just take off the back cover and look for the Takara stamp. should be there.

    It could also be on the battery cover itself.

    And Metcalf18, I'm pretty sure you have an original G1 Soundwave there. And in not too bad a condition, either, by all appearances. :)
