Totally doing this. Something my custom skills (or lack thereof) can do. The shape ways Head is a bit pricey. I was thinking of buying the blue One, cause it's cheaper and less area to paint.
I really would advise against skimping on shapeways prints the lower quality ones are a lot more grainy and less finished. When I first started ordering from shapeways I ordered some heads in white strong and flexible and they were just no good to anyone, far too rough. That being said soundwave has less facial detail than most characters but I still wouldn't recommend it.
This was an excellent idea. I especially like the integration of Rumble's tank mode into Soundwave's serving as a mobile platform. I have a KO Onslaught that will be leftover from a customization project, and you have helped me figure out what I want to do with it. Well done!!
I had this idea using Brawl - Rumble, Rook - Frenzy, Blastoff (jet version) - Laserbeak, Vortex - Ratbat, Onslaught - Soundwave. and Legends Groove as Ravage Combined mode is Disruptor.

Could you sell on Ebay or Mercari? My location is The USA. And quick Question, is the paint durable? Or must I handle him like a eggshell?
Having handled the custom myself, it’s pretty durable, so long as you’re not crashing and smashing him you’ll be good You did well on this custom @nemisispringer looks even better with the Shapeways head

I think that since he no longer has the Combiner backpack, his combined mode will be gimped as a result.
Sadly not as I removed the combiner backpack kibble for a cleaner sillouette and alt mode. If I was to combine him you’d basically just have a soundwave on stilts.
