    No Fort Max please.

Plus you gotta rmember, this isn't G1. BW Scorponok wasn't a headmaster or a city, who's to say Bay didn't base his Scorps of the BW version? And I love Frenzy, I think they did well with him. (A little Starwars-y, but still cool)

I bet movie Scorponok is more based on the energon version. All he ever did was whatever someone else told him to do. Movie scorps doesn't seem to have any character at all other than blackout dropping him off and telling him to kill, or something like that.

well fort max was just my favorite toy :)  scorponok was better in G1 ( i hated beast wars) i just hope eventually we see the dinobots soundwave thundercracker, and skywarp AND i would like to see prowl, and YES this move was supposed to be lightly based on G1 not beast wars :p

I know that, I was using him as an example.

BTW, I loved BW and still think it's the best series EVAR!;)

Yeah, I actually liked BW more than G1...but it's kinda close.

Though I still think Scorps is more like his BW incarnation than anything else.

I hope they dont do city bots but what else could they use to make a truly GIANT transformer. He would need to be giant but still have a perpose for his alt mode.

thats exactly his character, he's all instinct and doesnt really think for himself. Basically a trained attack dog...only he's much larger and a scorpion.

A city-bot, eh? Let's not forget how the movie transformers show up. If there's a protoform the size of a city crash-landing onto Earth there wouldn't be much left of anything.

How about they stick the allspark into a city's power grid? Then, slowly, a massive fist forms from several skyscrapers, and a massive hulk begins rising out of the ground...

Scorponok isn't anything, just an attack drone.

Shame, as Scorponok was a very interesting character in the comics.

Since barricade has frenzy in his chest, then isn't he kindof like soundwave?

    I think...

Its safe to say that the main characters that will be introduced in the next two sequels would be Devastator and Unicron. I wouldnt expect Fortress since he wasnt an important player in either series or toy line.

How about Soundwave as a Dodge Caliber? If you watch the commercials for the Caliber they show a scene where this guy folds out the speakers to listen to music while they party at the beach. The speakers that fold out of the rear hatch look really similar to frenzy.....almost boombox like. Then you could have soundwave with all his minions inside. Just my thought.

Don't want to ruin it for anyone so I will keep it undercover so If you don't want a spoiler then don't read below

well reading the back of the package of Scorp/Blackout combo figures. It sounds more likely that Blackout and Scorp work together. So I would say Blackout gets the humans to run away from the base with his fire power and Scorps waits on the out-skirts to run them back to the base only to get blasted by Blackout again. But this is just my opinion.

The Blackout/Scorponok relationship is exactly the same as Soundwave/his minions. In fact Blackout was intended to be Soundwave, which can easily be seen in his bio as being Megatrons right hand man, but they changed the name early on. A scorpion just seemed like a better minion for him to use, my guess anyway, and the name Scorponok just fit.

It was mentioned that Soundwave will be in the sequels, once they find a 'suitable alt mode and role' for him, but I can't see a city bot ever showing up.

Scorponok is a lovely modern day upgrade to the robotic animal minions of Soundwave.
