If Starscream is going to make a post-mortem appearance in TLK as rumored, then so should Soundwave.

He proved/reinforced his loyalty by reviving Megatron, he built a spy network on Earth, he had two awesome minions, he's just awesome!

I really hope there's space for a Soundwave cameo.

If that's the case, you would only see a headless body of a silver bot with SLS-AMG kibble

Why? he didn't do anything! I mean, he did those those things you said, but he did nothing cool on screen.

Starcream was the highlight of TF1!

I hope the DOTM soundwave was just a clone of the ROTF satelite Soundwave. And he is actually alive. Well he is clever enough to trick all the autobots.

I was kinda hoping that since the IMAX poster is teasing TF1 Megatron it might be a chance to see Starscream and Soundwave in a flashback along side Megs.

If the Sizzle reel is to be believed, Megatron looks mournfully at Starscream's severed head. I think they should have a flashback sequence to expand more on Megatron and SS's relationship.

Megatron would still be dead if it weren't for Soundwave finding the location of the allspark shard

Starscream's already getting a cameo in that scrapyard scene in a way that feels like a nice nod to the previous trilogy to me. Soundwave getting a scene like that would just feel like pure fanservice. Unless...

...it was done like this, have it clearly in view, but not be the focal point of the shot.

Huh... weird. For some reason, I don't want a fan-favorite character to get a cameo. Maybe I've become my Shattered Glass self?

Do you mind me asking where you heard this news and if you know what the cameo is? I'm curious now, Movie Starscream is one of my favorites so I'll like any little cameo. XD

The IMAX preview had a scene of Megatron holding Starscream's head Hamlet style.

It was purple for some reason tho? CG might've not been finished.

If it weren't for Ravage and Reedman getting amongst it down on the ground! Give them a cameo!;)

We never did find out what happened to Reedman, did we? He just kind of runs to safety while Ravage covers him, so he could still be alive. Unless Reedman is stored in Ravage's spine, which I highly doubt. Would be a weird character to bring back, but hey, why not, right?

...now I'm wondering how Reedman gets back inside Ravage. Every theory just gets more disturbing than the last.

There was a pre-viz scene that shows Ravage open his chest and the Doctor comes out and takes the Shard from Reedman. Reedman then falls apart to his individual bots and re-enters Ravage. The scene is shown on the DVD extras I believe.

In the IMAX fan event, Megatron holds up Screamers head in the junkyard.

That's exactly what it was. To be honest, I really hope Megs has the power to bring back dead TFs. Would love to see him revive his past followers. Would be cool to see Screamer come back and then become a F-35 his time.

Dudes, since headmasters are being introduced in TLK and Soundwave is dead, why not have Soundblaster?
I mean, we already have nameslapped robots and nobody really knows who he is. So why not? Like, he could have the vocoder voice that ROTF Soundwave had and it could be passed off as the two bots that comprise him talking at the same time (like possessed people in horror movies).
But to be honest, I'm biased
