Soundwave is in the episode, Triage, should be interesting.

Sure hope so. I wonder how he would fair in a fight against an exwrecker? I'd also love for an episode to center on him. Perhaps "Silence is Golden"

So what do you all think would be a good episode for good ol' Soundwave ?

 

Soundwave capturing Starscream, Airachnid, and maybe an Autobot as revenge for what happened in "Armada". Playing with their minds and hunting them down. I think this would work because Soundwave does seem like Megatron's passive bodyguard and he's loyal and crazy enough. I think the title would be named in episode (like all are) by Starscream in an effort to mock Soundwave in the beginning; but it completely backfires on him. Maybe something like "Tin Man" in an effort to joke about his silence and emotionlessness.

 

Soundwave isn't crazy.

 

If you're refering to my coice of wording, it was a poor one. He is silent, creepy, loyal to the point he'd do anything for Megatron so crazy was as good of a word as I could get. perhaps obsessed but it still doesn't have the right sound to it.

If you're referring to my episode notion, it is flawed. I'm now thinking of him being after just one. If Airachnid, Autobots get involved because she is in their possession. Conflict from the fact that they don't fully believe she should be saved. "Just because we didn't kill her, it doesn't mean we must save her." If Starscream, he sends distress signal to Autobots and thus forces Bulkhead to more actively address what happened during "Armada". Both take away the flaw of portraying Soundwave as a 'crazy' collecting serial killer type; instead he is a sient hunter. Still not perfect, but considering what he has done before, I believe it works as the backbone of a Soundwave-centric episode as asked.

Does anyone have their own Soundwave episode or moment ideas or anything else about our favorite faceless fright to share?

 

Yeah, where Megatron sends him off to recover Skyquake. If the writers are secretly monitoring & taking notes from my troll posts, it'll be a gooder.

Well as long as they don't pull a dumb move with Soundwave Triage should be the best episode of season 2 for me

And Rewind Eject I really want to see an episode on cybertron in the past showing the gladiator fight between Soundwave and Megatron that must have been an epic ass fight.

 

Considering how epic Megatron was fighting an Insecticon, the true gladitorial match between him and Soundwave would probably make me die of an awesomeness overload.

Literally, I would die of awesomeness, that's how much I want to see this.

I agree. Now we know why Cybertron is dead. There's no dark energon in its core; it couldn't handle the awesomeness that was that fight. 

 

Despite the fact that I don't mind how they've been doing their flashbacks, an art splash of the two fighting with still shots just wouldn't cut it. They're not Gainax, afterall.

 

Aggred for what seems like an important fight an art still won't cut it just make it normal styled and il be happy.

 

Soundwave not talking makes him mysterious and that makes him very intriguing to me. I think I would fall out of my chair if he uttered a sound. I like him just the way he is.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the coming episode.

 

The judas priest song electric eye is about soundwave. Well it not but it seems true. Listen and think of soundwave I dare ya.

 

Let's hope Flying Minds has at least a few clips of Soundwave.
