Speaking of repaints. Someone should do a toasty Coronation Starscream, like in your sig.

 

That would be very cool! I did have a friend on another board (SW related) that was intent on painting one of his MP Primes different shades of grey to look like his death knell in TFTM... wonder if he ever did? Always thought that was a great idea too.

 

I love the Universe Seeker mold and I've become a huge fan of the Acid Storm repaint! I think his deco is great for troop building.

I too have been bitten by the seeker bug. For me it started with Skywarp. I was so impressed by it, having been let down by G1, Armada, and Robotmasters on a good seeker mold, that I ended up going all in: Ramjet was added to become a two man seeker force. Then Starscream made for a weird trio. Then got the Botcon set, and Acid Storm. I'll even be getting the new Starscream and rename the old one something like Skyscream, just to build ranks. I'll continue to get the rainmakers, and any other "generic" seeker they come up with.

I would also warn you that the seeker completion virus is a dangerous one, but it's probably far too late for that.

 

I guess you could say that Acid Storm was my first true seeker as well, not counting my Armada or Movie Starscreams. I also have a potential 3 more stand-ins comming by next year (Target-exclusive Dirge, Animated Sunstorm, and just maybe a Henkei Thrust)

G1 Thundercracker was my first TF, and with this new mold being all sorts of awesome, i want him.

 

ok, I feel kinda stupid for asking, since I should know this, but what's the origin of acid storm, both cartoon-wise and story-wise? was he actually in one of the episodes, and if so, could someone provide a screenshot?

 

Man that's a lot of Acid.

The classics seeker is a great mold. I love it so much I have begun repainting them. It's kinda fun.

In short: a one-episode generic seeker from the G1 ep. "Divide and Conquer" that got a toy, and wasn't Sunstorm. Interestingly, Bumblebee does say "Acid Storm" at one point as if he's calling one of the rainmakers by name.

I know this thread isn't for the Masterpiece seekers, but I just saw Peaugh's review of Masterpiece Starscream and all I could think was "Wooooooooow...". It's beautiful. Though I love the colors of Skywarp better... I'm going to need to find more money... >.<

 

i have four, waiting on the funds to get the henkei thrust/dirge, then i might pick up acid storm, this mold is awesiome
and as to mps, i need thundercracker, and i hope they release the coneheads

 

I love this mold too. It's one of the all time best. Quick question, when was the term "seeker" coined up? Is it official?
