Hey, here's my custom Sins of the Wreckers (god does it feel good to type that!) Stakeout. I saw the artwork that's been previewed for SOTW and I sorta fell in love with the design. I tried to get as close as I could but I couldn't figure out how to get the kneepads to work. Oh well. Unfortunately there's no room to hide the feet in alt mode, so I guess Stakeout has a FAST pack now? It kinda works?

He was made using CW Streetwise as the base and was modified for the alternate transformation. (It was way more difficult than I thought it'd be to get that to work--I shaved/shaped/removed a lot of the figure.) His new hood assembly is from PRID Kup, the feet assembly is from HA Bumblebee, and the guns I got off Shapeways.

I sorta like the simplicity of this color layout but I might add some more detail work, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Sorry for the crappy pics and thanks for looking!

That's amazing. His feet are a tad too long for my tastes, but he's otherwise an awesome looking dude. :thumb

It is box art accurate though, as he has a pretty prominent pair of winklepickers on there.

    Thanks for the kind words!

He's got fairly big feet in the comic too:

I considered trimming the feet down a bit but in the end I couldn't be bothered to. They look better in person anyway :)

if you do the rest of the micromaster team as a combiner team, i have a few suggestions.
Alpha Bravo as seawatch but a submarine instead of boat.
Deadend as clipper, Staekouts japanese counter parts GF.

    this does look amazing!

hey now. let's not get ahead of ourselves. i didn't even think of that.

    hmmmm

I guess I could do prowl/streetwise with less modding as Holi. Red Alert as fixit, hot spot as the fire truck guy, and hound into countdown (since the team was released with his set at one point in Japan. I'd probably turn the PCC boat guy into Seawatch as a chestplate.

    hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm

well, holi, pipo, boater and fire were all on countdowns base, just countdown was never there. undertow would be a neat looking chest plate, but i was thinking hotspot into fire. as with dinoking the leader doesnt have to be the main body right?

Thanks! I used Testors enamel paint with an airbrush kit. I know most people swear by acrylic paints but I've always used enamels and I'm just too used to it now. Plus I've got most of the colors now.
