I'm either really clueless or not lpoking hard enough, is there a way to keep the weapons in place when flipping them open without them detracting back?

 

Apparently (and this comes from watching a Kapow Toys video on the Youtube, DotM Barricade) if you pull the weapon out (without pushing the button) THEN push the little button, it should lock in place.

Not very clear, I know but it makes sense, manually pull it out then lock it in place with the switch.

 

At least on the voyagers, if you push the button in and then turn that button, you can lock the weapon in its outward position.

 

You can lock the voyager weapons out by turning the button slight (the ladder on Megatron's gun, for example). The deluxe weapons don't stay out and don't try to force them (you'll only break them).

 

There's no way to lock the deluxe weapons. The best thing to do is to remove the spring inside.

 

Yup, only Voyager MechTech weapons can be locked in the deployed position.

 

That's been driving me nuts. Why have a chain saw weapon (Roadbuster) if it won't stay out?? All they needed to to is make it lock at the very end...
