Hello everyone. As some (probably not many) of you know, I'm a very small scale collector. In the year that I've been collecting, I've bought 11 figures. So anyway, I finally caved on something I've been pondering on for months. As of today, the order has cleared and somewhere around two weeks from now, I'll be able to add this to my collection as the most classic piece and the one that cost me the most money (by a long shot):
    TFC 06 Megatron.

And, as I was in the process of making this post...I paid a visit to bigbadtoystore (where I ordered) only to find that the item is now on sale. So, for that and the fact that this orange plug is going to be far more difficult to remove than the one on Masterpiece Megatron (or so I've read), I'd like to say "fuck you" to BBTS...but thanks anyway. Sale or no sale, I'm still incredibly happy I'll finally be getting this.

Had him for awhile before I sold off all my G1 stuff. If you like the G1 toys than you'll love Megs. He's great and the sword is freakin' awesome... along with the added parts that came with the TFC reissue he's one of the best Megatron's to get I think.

Shame about BBTS plugging him, but they've got to do what they've got to do... whether I agree with it or not...

Yeah, that's one thing I forgot to ask about, whether or not this is the one that came with the mousepad. And since it does, I'm even more happy. :p

For the cost it came to after shipping, I could've almost got Masterpiece Megatron but I was more interested in getting a proper-scale gun mode that actually fired.

The largest of the Book style boxes next to Optimus, Came with all his alt mode parts as well as: the mousepad, a set of Con stickers of various sizes, bullets, Sword, Megs hand Gun, the Energon Mace, some other small things I believe I'd have to dig the box out, I got mine at a convention a few months after it came out for $80.

but encore still has the sword, and the other stuff right? i dont really need a mousepad...so that doesnt concern me...as long as encore has the figure, the guns, and the sword i think i'd be happy...

The only things I think the Encore reissue doesn't have are the mousepad and the energy mace... other than that I believe it's the same... though I think BBTS also plugged those too...

I believe it would be the same.
Even if they didn't include the mouse pad and stickers, all the Original Items Megatron was originally released with would be included including the addition of the Energon Mace I would assume.

That's not my problem at all. It's that the figure, by chance, went on sale immediately after my order went through...and the fact that, based on what I've read, the plug they've put on this particular Megatron is harder to remove. My problem isn't that the plug is there, it's that the plug is harder to remove than the one on Masterpiece Megatron (for example).
EDIT: I...thought that was pretty clear in the first post.

Mace is cool. Mousepad is tiny.
    Book box is cool.
Encore box is throwback to original though.
Only other difference, I believe, is pellet color.
Considering Encore is half the price and you can pick up a the mace for cheap, if you have to choose, the decision maker would be price vs. packaging.
