I've had pretty good experiences with mine. They even paid for themselves with different editing jobs. But I probably won't get this because I already have a laptop and a buddy of mine is selling me an older Mac Laptop for 100 bucks.
well my problem was that my combo drive stopped working with dvds, it would still write/read cds no worries, so i could have lived with it - IF MY RECOVERY DISCS WEREN'T DVDS. also it was 2 weeks past the year of owning it and sony refused to fix unless i handed over heaps of cash.
Not friendly...899. And I'm not sure if it could replace a notebook, but I need to read up on it more. Might be fun if I have the extra cash.
my bro and I's first computer was a Vaio...and my computer that i bought when i moved up here was a Vaio.... and its good if you dont plan to upgrade...but if you do, it kinda sucks. Laptops are different and i would of gotten one if it was available. as for this one...i played around with the mini-laptops and its too smushed...for something that doesnt have a DVD (or BR in Sony's case) drive, its really expensive. most of the minis are going for $300 range....is this really worth the extra $600
Yeah I bought mine as an editing machine, so pretty much as long as it could do that I was happy, the only issue was storage, and I could upgrade that.
