That and they say its alot easier to buy a PS3 at any store, wonder why...
For starters, other than the innovative controller, the Nintendo Wii is NOT Next Generation like the 360 and the PS3. Playing "Twilight Princess" was fun because of the controller. The graphics were hardly better than anything I saw on the GameCube.
Madden 07 looked subpar to what I was expecting.
The specs have stated all along that the Wii is more of a "GameCube update" than a "Next Gen" system.
And don't call me a hater, I stood in line to get a freakin' Wii.
About the PS3 availability ... it's tough to convince yourself to drop $600 on a game system. Nothing has changed since the Jaguar.
Yep. Even when it has a good range of games, and the PS3 does not have that yet.
impulse buy is better than people walking by it in the store and laughing.
It's just Sony's jealousy because they failed at this launch.
I wouldn't say fail as much as flop.
Everyone is looking at the PS3 and loving the graphics (they are GORGEOUS), but having a hard time justifying purchasing one when it runs $500 for a 20GB version and $600 for a 60GB version. Next, add on $60 for the Sony HDMI cable for it, and then start adding up for accessories. It is by far from a cheap or affordable system.
Is this their answer to the bad press Microsoft gave them earlier this month?
If so, they fail.
You can get the SAME EXACT graphics on a 360, which is more affordable-but still not cheap-than a PS3.
Well, not exact. the PS3 is capable of better graphics than the 360, we just havent seen them yet.
Impluse? Maybe. Still not buying a PS3 athough. Nice job Sony!
Call it what you want, the fact is Nintendo is doing very well, while Sony is having to make excuses.
Sony's best move would be to just shut up and concentrate on making good games.
No, you can now get the 1080 on the 360...
Twilight Princess was developed to be a Gamecube game, not as a Wii game. The Wii version really only has some minor modifications from its Gamecube twin.
Making them strictly theoretical until we see them, assuming we ever do.
Agreed. It seems every time Sony opens their mouth they tend to put their foot in it. I know that they all talk trash about each other but it seems like everyone is kicking it into high gear compared to the last-gen launches. Even if Sony is right it doesn't mean that the Wii will be less of a threat in the future. In the end it is the numbers that matter. This generation of systems looks to be a close run for number one for a while.
You could say that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are not next generation. They are just updated PS2's and Xbox's with better graphics. I would say that adding a new way to control games is alot more of a generation leap.
that doesnt say anything about their graphical abilities. it's just an HD video signal.
It recently came out. You had to download it onto your 360.
whats with all the Wii bitchin by Sony (maybe because most forums is the opposite)....it used to be the X-Box that got bitched at, but this/nest generation, its been mostly the Wii...seems like the Wii is really starting to be Sony's biggest PS3 threat (especially overseas)...
Ah, business as usual, I see.
