Sony 4K projector gets go-ahead from Hollywood

    not bad...though there'll be a lot that wont be getting it for a while (especially those who just went to 2K screens)

    kinda wish someone makes a non-projector way, cause it sucks when you see peoples shadow blocking the screens..i got it, since Sony made a 100in HDTV, who not a theatre-sized one :D

    I hope its better than Sony's Home Theater Projector offerings. When I went demoing HT projectors, Sony's easily looked the worse out of what I saw. Picture was way too dark, and the contrast didnt look very good at all. (however, yes, its possible for the thing to have been misconfigured, but I was not impressed.

    But this will be nice. I hate seeing a movie afew weeks later and seeing tons of scratches and stuff.

    I'll never enjoy a movie at a theatre until I finally get in the middle of a crowd who'll actually shut the fuck up. Doesn't matter how good the projection is if I can't even pay attention to it.
