Heh. Read the potential spoiler dump on the previous page, and I think it's a little weird to have
    Silver
as a boss battle- one of the least liked characters. However, the list of levels is really impressive- fantastic, really.
    Sky Sanctuary and Planet Wisp
are two of my favorite Sonic stages, so I'm excited to see them revamped.

PC release makes me happy. :)

as I was playing through this, I had a smile ear to ear and literally was going "ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod" out loud.

this is what I've been waiting for from a sonic game.

    thank you, sega. well done.

Just played it on PSN. Don't know how to feel about it, really. Some very fun parts but the physics of the demo felt so off and the frame rate was choppy.

Played the demo, definitely feels more like the Genesis Sonic games.

Now if Sega could just implement the same physics into Sonic 4 Episode II...

The 360 demo is pretty fun! Although the controls almost feel a little lagged.

If they were trying to imitate Sonic 1's controls, I think they did a decent job. That one did have a little lag. My main issue is still the camera, jumping whenever I tried to press the opposite direction. I hope Sega "eases" the camera movement more, and I think that would also help any issues of losing track of the action.

I tried it, it was ok. The demo will expire in 16 days though, first time I've seen a timed demo.

Problem I found was when it goes too fast you cant see anything at all. IIRC the original could go just as fast, but you could track everything (just about) here you can't. Frame rate?

I think it's more like the screen blurrs so much than a frame rate issue.

Whatever it is, its stupid. Sonic running through my Megadrive collection works absolutely fine, screen blur is stupid.

Having said that I bought Sonic 1,2,3 and Knuckles on DS because it was cheap. I swear there's actually slowdown there. WTF Sega?

I was pleasantly surprised by the demo, I could see myself picking this game up.

Very Impressed with that Demo, Wished there was a Modern Sonic level too especially considering the demo is limited.

Also: Boss fights take place on different acts than what was known proviously. Meaning Rival fights like Metal Sonic get their own act to play out in. That means: MOTHER TRUCKING STARDUST SPEEDWAY.

I just played this a few days ago and I was actually impressed by the game. It felt a little laggy though.
