anyone got the DS version and can comment on it? im very intertested in getting it

 

If you've played Sonic Rush, the DS version of colors is just like it, except for the added in wisps.
The side-missions can be fun too.
The special stages are pretty close to Sonic 2's, except instead of grabbing rings you have to grab a certain amount of a certain colored orb. The course loops taking away a color each time. It's pretty interesting and fun.
Also, I'm pretty sure Hideki Naganuma did the stage music again, awesome as always.

 

Yeah I agree very similar to Sonic rush games, IMHO the rush games are better as the wisps kind of interrupt the flow of the level, a very good game though.

 

Thats a bit disappointing I have the first Rush im not a big fan of it cause it likes to kill me

Haha, as soon as I had him, I went and blew through all the stages with S rank, but now......

There's nothing to do.

i'm missing a bunch of red rings. going back when i have time to fully complete the game. kinda glad these games make you work for super sonic and don't just give it to you at the end (adventure games, unleashed, secret ring, black knight). that said, i'm embarrassed to say i've actually played through black knight.

 

After a long ass hiatus, I burned through this game. Quick question--when you unlock super sonic, are there some stages you just can't complete b/c you don't have access to the whisps? Am I missing something? Thanks!

Awesome game. My favorite 3D sonic game to date.
