The three of us that liked the first episode of Sonic 4 might be interested in this.
Sonic 4: Episode 2 on the way? Ties in with Sonic CD?

I really liked the first episode.
If they can just fix the forward momentum problem with the first episode the rest can just be more of the same as far as I'm concerned.

I agree, the forward momentum issue was the worst thing about the game, but it didn't ruin it by any means. After I played a while and got used to it, it really did start to feel like a real, 2D Sonic. So, just glad Sega is going to continue with another episode, even if it's taking forever.

Speaking of which, I totally didn't realize Sonic CD came out this week. Very much getting it.

Freakin' sweet, I was wondering when it would come! Now if only the fanbase doesn't kill hopes for episode 3 (and maybe 4), we're set.

Wow he was really specific with the release date. 2012. That's... that's next year. The whole year. Good work. Also, all he needed to say to make fans breathe a sigh of relief is that "when you stop touching the controller, Sonic still has momentum and doesn't just stop on a dime."

I do hope for better music this time.

As far as content goes, I was pretty happy with what we got being that this was an episode. The 12 stages, which matches that of Sonic 3, made for a pretty satisfying chunk of Sonic gaming. However, that WAS what I thought while playing it, assuming that, as an episode, the NEXT episode would come shortly there after. Now that it seems these "episodes" are practically being treated like entire games, at least in terms of production time, and having to wait 2 years between each, then I agree, there SHOULD be more content.

EDIT: That was a really wordy way to say that. To sum it up, if they take over a year to make these then yes, I want to see more then just 4 worlds since that's a huge gap between something that's meant to be episodic.

HAHAHAHA. Looks like they slapped on a fresh coat of paint and fixed a few issues. It looks pretty and not the ugly mess that was the first Episode.

But Sonic doesn't even fucking accelerate when going down a hill. A. FUCKING. HUGE. HILL. Speedboosters and Spring Automation looks be be there in full force as well. Seems the physics are still arse.

GG Sega and Dimps. You've improved in most areas but still can't get the basics down. Count me out of this one as well.
