I grabbed the first Sonic when it was released so I'll be grabbing this as well, even though I have the Sonic Mega Collection for the Xbox.
Online seems to be only limited to the 2-player split screen races though.
Now if they'll just hurry up with Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles.
    And Treasures Gunstar Heroes.

Not to be outdone, Nintendo have Sonic 3 on there US VC:

    It's like a Sonic overload.

BOO for sonic 3. It's only half the game!

(For those of you who are not aware, Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles were, in fact, two halves of the same game. The rom was chopped in half and put on separate cartridges, so that the game could be made complete by linking both carts together.)

That one I'm not so excited about. I have this little GEM called Sega Genesis Classics for 20 bucks that has so much Sega lovin' that I'm not looking to buy any on the Xbox Arcade.... now if they bring Shining Force and Landstalker, like Wii did, I'll be a happy panda.

Yeah, they have been released a couple times recently, so this isn't that big of a deal. And, Randomferret is right about Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles. Heck, if you even put in the level select code in sonic 3, the Sonic and Kunckle levels are listed, just unselectable. That may have been a teaser, but really, Sonic 3 had about 10 levels less then sonic 2, and 6 levels less then Sonic 1. They were larger levels though, but I still say it doesn't feel like a full game until they are linked up.

As I originally said, I have the Mega Collection that has Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Sonic and Knuckles for the XBox and it's backwards compatible with the 360 but this was a no-brainer for me to get.

But I do agree that I'd live some Shining Force 1 and 2 and possibly the CD's as well. And Landstalker would be sweet as well. Love that game plus I heard a rumour that it's coming to the PSP.
