So I take out my Star Wars millennium falcon and was messing around with it. I think as a combiner these two are pretty good. Then it happened........

    CRACK!!!!!

Damn right leg shattered. Noooooooo! Damn I wish Hasbro would stop using brown/gold plastic.

That is why I keep it in the alt mode and just look at it only.

That is one reason why I do not own that figure... Among other reasons.

As a transformer, it's fairly decent. As a SW Transformer, it's beautiful... course it probably helps I got it on clearance for about half off retail. I really love the quality of the sound clips.

Mine is still sitting on a top shelf in robot mode (both haves).

I was able to purchase an extra when they came out because I was able to get them for $15 each. I had a piece break on one of mine, but I can't remember which part.

Overall, it's a REALLY cool figure, as others have said.

I hope you can get yours fixed! You may want to search out eBay for some junkers for repair parts :)

Wow, I just looked this up and it is a very cool figure. Now, it's too expensive to get...and with the possibility of it breaking on me...I'm afraid to even buy a cheap one (if I was to find one).

Since I've only been collecting FE Primes and RID's...do I have to worry about the brown/gold plastic on these as well?

It's these stories that make me never want to get mine out of storange, despite loving it.

I had so much fun with that fucking toy.

I managed to open the leg and McGuyver it to work. It won't take heavy abuse but it still poses and transforms. Still sucks though.

If the metallic flake in the plastic looks really swirly, then yes you do. But then again, I'm not sure if any of the Prime figures use anything close to that so far. Clear plastic with hinges sounds like a recipe for disaster, however. Treat the mainline Voyager Optimus' forearms/elbows with care.

This was my first (and last) Star Wars Transformers crossover figure...mine didn't even last but a month, I had it on display in vehicle mode and decided to transform them back into robot mode, next thing I know Chewbacca's leg is in one had and the body in the other. This killed it for me, I mean what's the point of collecting a toy line when your favorite vehicle is prone to breakage?

Guessing the plastic became brittle and a ratchet joint stressed it out. These crossover figures have a different standard on their ratchet joints than the mainline. being obviously a different design team. (possibly former galoob design team.)

That first marvel crossovers ironman for example has some troublesome thigh ratchets.

I'd go looking for a junker that has the leg intact. Rather than hunting down a completely new set. Check ebay, and the junkion exchange. You have everything else. Then just swap out the leg.

Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to look out for any flakes or swirly parts. Or clear plastic w/hinges.
