Go to TFU.info, I know they have pics of them. You can search by the year they were released or by name

As far as I know, those are the only Eggbots. Three designs, two repaints of each, unless you could the first releases from the 80s.

Yep, originally the Microman versions, the remolds, some KOs, and then the release of the three molds (bot, lion, and bird) as part of Beast Wars II in Japan. The 'dark' version has a Destron designation.

They don't pop up all that frequently, but yet don't command a high price when they do. I got a full set of six in a lot of BW2 stuff, and I've picked up a few additional ones for $10-$15 on card.

I have the GiG release of the original micro-change ones, and one of the BE ones, the rest of them are grails for me, but they seem stupidly hard to find...

Transforming rocks and gems sounds like a pretty sweet idea.

Actually, I think they're pretty cool. On a side note, I do have one that turns into a Triceratops, but I don't think it's related to Takara/Hasbro in anyway.

And hey, Takara also made transforming books that turn into little cities (E.g. "A San Francisco story" turned into a miniature San Francisco, bridge, etc). :)

Then again, I consider all TFs like puzzles in a way.

They seldom sell for less than $20 each on card. Personally, I think $80 would be a fair price for them. They almost never sell for that much, but they are very rare. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $80 each anyway, because I know it might take years to find all six again. But yeah, if you are patient, it should be possible to pick up a full set for less than $150.

Another bit of trivia is that the meteor-robo that turns into a robot, seems to transform in the same way that the BW Neo Unicron would have...
