...is an in-depth look at the production of the toys. I'm a big fan of shows like the Science Channel's "How It's Made" and think that a feature on the conception, engineering, tooling/fabrication, and mass production of either one specific toy from the line (preferably something complicated in terms of piece production and transformation scheme) or the line in general would be an awesome addition to the special features of the eventual ROTF home-video release.

You can actually submit ideas to the "How It's Made" show.

Oh, I know, don't think I haven't considered it. :)  But I'd also like to hear from the people involved with the process, which the show doesn't really have time for in it's four-minute segments. It's probably something of a pipe-dream, but I just really think it'd make a neat DVD feature.

Something I'd like to see is a Writers commentary. I want to hear why they chose certain elements. I can care less what Bay says since he doesn't really care himself.

    *couldn't care less

But yeah, a writer's commentary would be awesome. I didn't mind Bay's commentary on the first movie, but I just plain prefer commentaries that have more than one person talking, part of the reason I enjoy watching commentaries (espescially for comedies or movies where you know the people have been working together a long time, like with The Simpsons) is hearing the discussion between the people that worked on the project.

    thankyou!!! sense

couldn't care less = already care the minimum amount possible ie. not very much
can/could care less = care enough for a reduction to be possible

why do so many americans get it the wrong way round?

You will know all things in good time. I sense...their is a date, on the horizon, where you will no longer have to worry about disinformation....

    That date is....June 26, 2009.

Untill then, don't let the wait get your panties in a bunch like this dude. It's pointless.

Oh yeah, and I totally agree with you OP. Your idea would actually give me a reason to watch the extra features this time around, instead of just watching the movie over. If I was in control of the DVD features I would definately put that one in there.

I'd also put Writers commentary in there, maybe then I could come to understand why they are making some of the dumbfuck decisions they are.

Actually, -I- am talking about something I would like to see for which the eventual DVD release is probably the most feasible home. Other people are talking about ... other stuff of little consequence.

I agree 100%. Bays egocentric commentaries on the TF1 DVD were completely useless and extremely painful to hear. I hope they bring the writers in this time, and maybe some of the producers and actors too.

Orci's said if they're not invited for a commentary this time they'll do one themselves and put it on iTunes.
