    I'm sure there's something planned, but we won't hear anything about it until Fall 2008 if not Toy Fair 2009.

    Rare chance of something being revealed at SDCC ... but not BotCon, way too early in the year this year to reveal anything for 2009.

    Well, technically the franchise didn't start until 1984. That's when the name "Transformers" really became used. Unless, of course, we're speculating into 2009 (which is seems kinda early for).

    If we're talking about this year it would be more accurate to say it's the 25th Anniversary of Microman and Diaclone toys.
