Not that big but Costco is getting the leader class Optimus Prime and it comes with Legends figures (not sure which ones or how many although it is plural) it is schedualed to hit the distribution center ( depot) on June 2 so they should be showing up around the same time as everything else. The Costco item number is 196085 and it's retail is 34.59-35.99 depending on region.( I work at a Costco in VA so ours is 34.99) Well that's all I got if this isn't considered news please delete. If anyone has questions feel free to ask but be forewarned I am on the internet very little but I will do my best to answer them.

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to get the leader class Prime anyway, so being able to save $5 and get some extra figures will be a nice bonus :)

Can one purchase things at a Costco without being a member? I believe there's a little trick at Sam's Club that, if you have a WM gift card, you can use it as a non-member and pay a 10% service fee. If they have the same thing at Costco, it's still cheaper to get Prime there.

You don't need a gift card actually, you just pay a 10% service fee if you're not a member at Sam's. Costco, though, does not have any such arrangement.

If you don't like Legends, this isn't such a hot deal. Now if it came with a Real Gear or something, then I'd be interested.

Yeah, unfortunately, you do have to be a full-fledged member to buy anything at Costco. But, the membership is 100% guaranteed, so I suppose if you couldn't come up with anything else to buy you could get your member fee back.

It's not? How is $34.59-35.99 for an MSRP $39.99 figure PLUS extra figures not a good deal? (Unless you're not already a Costco member and don't intend to otherwise use a membership.)

I believe you can purchase things from Costco.com if you're not a member, but there is a fee. They don't put everything on their site though.

Damn, stupid bulk stores and their membership fees. I have a costco 2 blocks from my office, but already have a BJ's membership. DOH!

They are going to be at all lower 48 states(US) stores but not online, I will let everyone know what exactly comes with it when I find out.

Yeah, yeah, reviving an old thread, but given that tomorrow is 6/2, I think this is pertinent. Does Ruinnatn or any one else related to Costco have any idea whether these will be on the shelves tomorrow? My patience is in short supply, and while I'd like to save $5 and get a few extra trinkets for free, if this won't be out for a couple of weeks I may just break down and buy Prime somewhere else. So some sort of confirmation would be nice.

Just call them and give them the product id code and see if they actually have it in the store or if it is still at the distrubution center.
