The proportions on Cybertron Thundercracker always bugged me. I just couldn't enjoy this figure with his skinny legs, his tiny feet and ankles, his unwieldy weapon arm, and his oversized head. Anyway, most of this is just an alternate transformation, and a head swap. I still have to do something about the weapon arm, but it doesn't bug me as much anymore. zmog
I can't believe all those things bothered you, yet the silly rubber missles didn't. I swapped mine with model missles, and it looks a lot nicer.
Haha! I never really even thought about it until you just mentioned it. I guess I'm more fussy about overall robot proportions, but more forgiving of the little details like that. But hey, now he's got rubber missiles AND a rubber head. zmog
A calculated effect, I assure you. I like the way his new head is a bit recessed between his shoulders. I think it gives him a slightly more powerful and menacing look... plus, it raises his jet kibble on his back, making the wings higher and giving the impression of longer legs. zmog
