420 be a monstrous corporation every day.

I think my favorite "monsanto dick move" was trying to crowd the market with GM seeds that don't reproduce, so farmers in developing nations would have to buy the seeds every year rather than starting seed banks or markets.

I don't remember what company it was but the Canadian Supreme court ruled in favor of one of those companies when they claimed that farmers who didn't purchase their product had to pay anyways. Because they patented a genetically engineered gene and cross polination or something like that.

This was my favorite dick move of theirs:

Yep, Monsanto did that. They're horrible.

By the way, for those of you that actually try to avoid GMOs, companies can legally say that their product does not contain GMOs if they tried to obtain unmodified versions of a plant, but were unable to. Which likely means they can make the minimum amount of effort to use unmodified organisms, then say "Oh darn, we couldn't find any unmodified ones, so we'll just have to use GMOs", and still slap a "No GMOs" label on their product. Awesome!
